With cutbacks to health-care and drug coverage, people living with HIV are sometimes expected to cover medical costs themselves.

At the AIDS Committee of Windsor, we offer limited assistance to qualified individuals for medical supplies, prescriptions etc., not covered by OHIP or any drug plans.

Empowerment funds are available for PHAs in order to improve the quality of their lives in some long lasting way. This can be used for courses, workshops etc. An application can be made with PHA Support staff outlining your need and how you plan to use the money as well as your own financial contribution.
