AIDS Awareness Week
AIDS Awareness Week is held every year the last week of November. In partnership with events planned by the Canadian AIDS Society, the AIDS Awareness Week campaign brings a heightened awareness of the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS through a variety of community events and forums.
Coinciding with World AIDS Day, which is December 1 of every year (November 30 this year due to Parent-Teacher Conferences on December 1st), which is when the Youth Conference and Candlelight Vigil are held, AIDS Awareness Week is a reminder to the world that HIV/AIDS are not a thing of the past.
Come out and join us; learn the issues, and learn how to avoid becoming one of the millions who are infected with an as of yet uncurable disease.
